Gymea First Floor Addition

This first floor addition in Gymea was designed to be fully self-contained, incorporating two generous bedrooms, two bathrooms (including a private ensuite), a full kitchen, and a functional laundry. The layout provides privacy, comfort, and a seamless integration with the existing home.

Premium finishes elevate the interior, starting with engineered European oak flooring and matching stair treads that bring warmth and cohesion throughout. The stair void and main bathroom are accented with VJ lining boards, adding depth and texture to the vertical surfaces.

Bathrooms feature elegant Carrara marble herringbone tiles and custom-built Blackbutt timber vanities and shaving cabinets, combining natural materials with refined detailing. LED strip lighting highlights bathroom niches and adds functional ambience in the kitchen.

Custom Blackbutt timber was also used for the laundry benchtop and as a feature wine rack integrated into the kitchen joinery — bringing natural character into everyday spaces.
