BALMAIN This Inner West project involved building an extension and renovating part of an existing home in Balmain to incorporate a larger kitchen with an island bench and breakfast bar. It was the smallest project we've undertaken, but the improvement it has made on the functionality and overall character of the house, has been amazing. Nestled in one of the sought after suburbs of Sydney and surrounded by heritage architecture, this project features the use of James Hardie Linea weatherboards for a classic and timeless appearance, while being accented with crisp white window and door surrounds to give that extra bit of lux 'pop'. The doors were a completely new and exciting product, which featured a frameless glass panel unit with the ability to fold and stack, or slide to either side, providing a very versatile solution to any space. MARRICKVILLE
tradielogin2023-03-16T11:05:35+10:00MARRICKVILLE This was an old terrace in the Inner West suburb of Marrickville, which needed some attention to bring it back to life. The architect designed a simple split level, open plan layout which included a brick veneer extension to the rear of the property and a complete renovation to the existing part of the house, while paying respect to the original features by renewing and replicating the style that once was, but with a modern refreshed retro vibe. The renovation included the use of spotted gum T&G hardwood flooring, which gives a real sense of warmth throughout the house. The bathroom again plays into that eclectic retro vibe with the use of green subway wall tiles and black/white checker tessellated floor tiles.
